It is great that you have put this answer into your own words, that is exactly what you needed to do.
I think they should put a sign in all rental cars telling tourist that they need to drive on the left hand side of the road. I have already seen a couple of people on the wrong side of the road this summer. Its a bit scary!
I like that Aotearoa means the land of the long white cloud, I think that this is a great description of New Zealand.
