My name is Rachel and I am working on the Summer Learning Journey blogging programme this year. It is wonderful to see that you are actively participating in the SLJ this summer. This is actually my fourth year with the programme and I absolutely love it! My favourite part of the job is the chance that I have to learn new things from students all around New Zealand. Today I learned even more about creating a positive digital footprint and being smart online from reading your blog. Thanks for being so thorough and for telling us what we can to stay smart and to actively create a positive footprint. I will do my very best to remember all of the ideas that you have shared including keeping my personal information private, making only positive comments on blogs, asking others if I am unsure and being safe, smart, responsible and respectful online.
These are great ideas! Did you learn all about being cybersmart in your class at school last year? I hope that you are having a nice break from school at the moment and enjoying a relaxing summer.
