Summer Learning Journey:activity 9 'Dear Jacinda'

I think kids should be able to be the Prime Minister because then it is fear for everyone and i think you should be able to vote from the age of ten and in school you have to spend a whole day learning about laws and all about the mp's and how to be a good Prime minster.
That is my thoughts about being Prime Minister,

  1. Hi Brennan
It would be so cool having kids as prime minister but there are to many in the world how would we choose? I like the Idea of being able to vote at the age of ten. We have our ideas and opinions to.
    Keep up the great work

  2. Hello Brennan,

Hmmm, what an interesting idea. Are you suggesting this so you can run for Prime Minister? Did you know that Jacinda Adern is the youngest Prime Minister to have ever been elected in New Zealand? But she was still 37 years old at the time.

I do like your idea to lower the voting age. Currently there is a campaign to lower the voting age to 16. I think this could be a good idea because everybody is affected by politics, not just adults. What do you think of this?

Thanks for sharing your letter to Jacinda Brennan! I really enjoyed reading it :)
